WE'RE MOVING AND CHANGING OUR NAME!

Yes, it's true. I know some of you are very fond of the name "sweetie pie vintage", but the "sweetie pie" field has gotten VERY crowded! There are actually a couple of women in the UK who are using the sweetiepievintage name and who refused (after I asked very nicely) to change their name to something a little more original, which was the deciding factor for me. The name will still be around for a while and you can still find me if you look for "sweetie pie vintage" or "sweetiepievintage", but the new name is "pretty sweet vintage" or "prettysweetvintage" and I think the name is, well, pretty sweet!

Still under construction, but the new site is running well and I am loving the new layout, not to mention how much easier it is to list! I'll be listing more steadily from now on and one of the reasons why is because it's so simple to list at the new website.

I'd love to hear your comments - I know the old website is a bit "artier", and I am hoping that I'll have the capability of adding my special touches as the year goes by.

Holy Carp!

OK, I've been doing whatever kind of "announcements" I think I need on my facebook page, but thought maybe I ought to say something here (it's been long enough):

I've been a little behind in listing lately as I've had a BIG change happen in my life lately and I've been feeling a bit discombobulated (wow, that word really is a word, lol). My days are now filled and I have to work on all aspects of the website during the evenings and on weekends. I've been a bit crunched!

My goal is still to get up at least 10 new items each week, we'll see how it goes. I have ZERO intention of stopping my vintage obsession (I've done it so long, it's forever a part of me), so I'm here to stay! Keep checking in, I ought to be adjusted in a couple of weeks.

Announcements

Well, what do you know, I'm back before a new year is over! I've decided to treat this blog as an "Announcements" page for now; that is, if anything new is going on over at Sweetie Pie Vintage, I'll post it here so that those visiting the website can click on the link and see what's up.

I'm so busy, I don't really know how to get this, facebook and twitter all going, so I'm just slogging through slowly! Rather than send out email notices over the little things, this will serve as a place for instant updates, via the website.

Worst Blogger Ever!

Yes, that might be me! As you can see, my last post was in JULY of 2009, it is now January, 2011. Oh well, I'll try to do better. My hat's off to everyone who successfully blogs, facebooks, twitters and manages to run a business as well!

If it's any defense, my personal blog is just as bad. :)

I decided to blog tonight to apologize to those of you who regularly check into my website for new items: I haven't had anything new for the past two weeks. I'm involved in a huge project (non-vintage-related) at the moment and have gotten behind. I hope to remedy that by having some new items up very soon, so I hope you'll check back later this week!
